Edward Lee "Jimmy" Dixon (801-D) passed away early Christmas morning on December 25, 2016 after battling cancer. Jimmy was a dedicated and faithful employee who greeted everyone with a smile, and he left a lasting impression on everyone that he came into contact with.
Sye Tommy Butler (801-T) was a long-time employee of the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office. He began working as a Deputy and later served as an Investigator, before becoming the Chief Deputy. He provided years of dedicated service to Sheriff Bozeman and the people of Mitchell County.
Captain Russell Sheppard (801-K) was also a long-time employee of the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office. He began working as a Deputy and later served as the Jail Administrator. He was a dedicated and faithful employee who demonstrated a work ethic seldom seen in today's times. He also served as a Pastor and had a genuine concern for people that he came into contact with.
